How to tell if you are ready to hire a virtual assistant?

Overwhelmed

Too much to do, too little time to do it. You can’t get for going? Write down all those tasks that you do in a day and see what can be outsourced. Check out my blog of Top Six things a VA can do for you.

Some tasks are being ignored

You have the same tasks on your list day after day and then they carry on into next week. Why would that be? Two simple reasons are;

a. you just hate that job, or

b. you don’t have the patience or the skill to complete the tasks

So why not find someone else to take care of these tasks for you!

You’ve lost passion for your business

You have to maintain the diary, arrange meetings, book travel; all essential tasks, but by the time you get these done, you don’t have enough time to get round to the good stuff. So why not outsource it! Any of it, one of the tasks or all of the tasks.

Each time you finished one ‘to do’ another three pop up

You have a list of things ‘to do’, which is a long list. You know what you need to do, and you are trying your best to get it done, but as soon as you have managed to cross one ‘to do’ off your list, two or three more pop up. This list is getting longer still. Let me know and I can help take some of those things off your list.

Missing important events

You have missed your child’s football game, dance recital, birthday party, a friend’s party, dinner with a friend…. the list is endless as to how many events you have missed. You just have too much work to do and not enough time to do it. So why not hire an extra pair of hands. Take care of some tasks for you to get some time back for yourself.

All of these are very good reasons to hire an assistant. You don’t even need to hire one for a full day, start with a few hours a week, each week and see how it goes. You can always increase. If you are not sure how much time it takes to get a tasks done, simply arrange a discovery call with a VA and ask them, it is the easiest way, the VA should know how long it takes. If you are not sure, perhaps call a few VAs, you don’t have to go with the first one.
